Yes, unfortunately, I spoke too soon. I was chuffed to see a complete and uninterrupted conversation, and was kind of hoping (rather foolishly!) that the LF might continue that way tonight. It’s definitely more than making up for the initial lack of birdsong now though!

It’s so frustrating and I don’t understand why they censor it so much these days, even when housemates seem to be involved in non-offensive conversations. Part of me wonders why they bother broadcasting it when they show so little. I so miss the LF of old, don’t you?

Did you see the Sarah and Khaled conversation, and if so, what were your thoughts?

Unfortunately no, I can in on birdsong and it stayed like that until Emma asked Lily what hours and days she worked and she started to reply then birdsong again

I'm going to jump in, and I'm biased so probably not the best person to ask the final question, as I personally thought it was reflective and decent analysis. I agree with everything they said and it was deeper than just claiming everyone is fake. The key points were they see hypocrisy in Ali for trying to label Khaled that whilst be close to enabling Lily, who Khaled said was playing a character.

They clearly edited the feed tonight to cover up who was Head of House. Other than the opening conversation they may as well have axed it.

Cheers for your response! I was interested to hear other people’s perceptions as I, too, thought it was such an intelligent, interesting and well-reasoned discussion, not resulting from a recent triggering incident or from a place of nastiness, but from a calm and thoughtful analysis of events.

There was real depth and maturity in this discussion which showed two people carefully and rationally considering their views. What a shame we don’t have access to more of this.

I think BBB basically summarises it in his response to me, Benjamin. I think what impressed me most was the way in which they were discussing it, and the depth of thought they were putting into it.
If you want to watch it, Mrluvaluva has a thread where he posts YouTube videos of the LF with all the birdsong removed. As there was so much birdsong last night, it will probably be a fairly brief video.

Watched the livestream for a bit the first time last night. It was really sweet and wholesome to watch, everyone seemed to be getting on surprisingly well considering they’ve just had to do F2F noms.

For a while a lot of them were in the kitchen and Segun, Khaled & Ali seemed to be joking around a little. Then Hanah & Ali were and Hanah said something about how she was going to start calling her Alison.

Then in the bedroom Segun, Khaled & Sarah were taking turns giving people piggybacks whilst racing around the room at top speed. Briefly, the housemates called for Segun to strip, and then Khaled kept going around picking people up with one hand like they were a piece of wood. It was very sweet :’)
