Early voting is way up here. Everyone I know for the most part has voted or was on the brink of voting (most had already) several days after the EV period began (21st). There's no stigma here whatsoever around the vote. It's a very normal election season... and I welcome that I would not be surprised to see a record number of people voting EV. It seems to fast be becoming the preferred method...

The media is going hysterical and it is out of proportion with people on the ground. So I just see that as a form of entertainment at this point. Conversations are so much easier now and much more balanced. People seem to finally have settled back into themselves since the 2016~2020 period and are very comfortable discussing their views by comparison. However, electioneering is way way down. I had to leave the city both directions to see Trump or Kamala signs in people's yards. I haven't seen any of other candidates either. Very strange.
