If you say genuine, that's fine. Just asking.

She also didn't exactly love Thomas and Segun either, she just tolerated them more than anything. She also has had an up and down relationship with Nathan, and he isn't even that masculine. ![]() The only guys that Ali seemed to genuinely like were Dean and Izaaz.

But he was emasculated imo, Ali has an issue with masculine personality traits, even in people like Marcello and Khaled who aren't even that masculine if you put them in a real world scenario. Anyone trying to say that Ali doesn't have issues in this area is not doing her any favours when she comes out of the house, you're enabling her behaviour. Whenever anyone has a prejudice, I always think that it's good to try to get to the bottom of it and try to solve the issue, rather than putting my fingers in my ears and pretend that it's not happening.

He just seemed very submissive towards all of the other Housemates, which I suppose isn't really a masculine or feminine trait tbh.
He probably was the very thing that some Housemates would accuse Khaled of being, which was a people pleaser.

Ali is basically projecting toxic feminist traits. Which isn't what real feminism is even about. Last edited by GoldHeart; 10-11-2024 at 10:07 AM. |

But I do think that Ali is apart of a new wave of feminism, that unfortunately can fall into the trap of man-hating/or disliking masculine traits. To try and be as fair as possible to Ali and Dean, I don't know what kind of experiences that they've had with straight and masculine men, but the defense can only go so far because we're entering a very slippery slope if we just completely whitewash an individual's prejudice just because they might have had a bad experience with another individual that is also in that group. And don't get me wrong I'm not saying that we should do anything OTT like legally punishing people for holding prejudiced opinions (because that's pretty dystopian) but obviously I don't want us to be encouraging any prejudices in society either. That's just my opinion.

She manipulates the weak….she doesn’t like strong minded people. She likes to feel empowered. That’s why she almost left the house when her plan backfired. |
