I didn't say you weren't allowed to disagree with me... I just wondered if you were deliberately misunderstanding what has been happening all season (not just with Marcello) or if it was genuine.

People have got to remember that Ali also had issues with Khaled and Ryan too.

She also didn't exactly love Thomas and Segun either, she just tolerated them more than anything.

She also has had an up and down relationship with Nathan, and he isn't even that masculine.

The only guys that Ali seemed to genuinely like were Dean and Izaaz.

But he was emasculated imo, Ali has an issue with masculine personality traits, even in people like Marcello and Khaled who aren't even that masculine if you put them in a real world scenario.

Anyone trying to say that Ali doesn't have issues in this area is not doing her any favours when she comes out of the house, you're enabling her behaviour.

Yeah I honestly think there's deep rooted issues there , and whether Ali & Dean have had bad experiences or not....they can't tar every ' masculine man ' with the same brush.

Tbf, I don't know if I would personally say that Ali is someone with "toxic femininity" as personally it's just not the kind of language that I would use.

But I do think that Ali is apart of a new wave of feminism, that unfortunately can fall into the trap of man-hating/or disliking masculine traits.

To try and be as fair as possible to Ali and Dean, I don't know what kind of experiences that they've had with straight and masculine men, but the defense can only go so far because we're entering a very slippery slope if we just completely whitewash an individual's prejudice just because they might have had a bad experience with another individual that is also in that group.

And don't get me wrong I'm not saying that we should do anything OTT like legally punishing people for holding prejudiced opinions (because that's pretty dystopian) but obviously I don't want us to be encouraging any prejudices in society either.
