Ali shortening further, which is to be expected. Marcello drifting slightly, Emma drifting a lot, Hanah shortening and becoming closer to 2nd fave. She's firm 3rd fave with most bookies now. Basically, the next few HL shows are crucial for Hanah.

Sounds kind of a silly analogy, but if this was a football match, Ali would be leading 3-0 at half time and cruising. Not all over, but it kinda is

As someone who doesn't really understand odds at first glance the football analogy is incredibly helpful, thank you

Just saw this! Ali shortening to around 66% and Marcello drifting to around 16%. I was surprised though bc I thought last night’s episode wasn’t a good one for Ali (whilst I like and understand her, lots of moments where I was like oh…she’s not going to be received well here ).

I also just still can’t imagine it being this clear cut. Can I ask - does anyone have much knowledge on previous BB winners odds? Have the bookies ever predicted a winner so confidently before and been wrong?

There's the odds from last year , somewhere on here if you want to compare. Jordan was a favourite to win with bookies and they got it right .

No, a HM has never been this strong in the odds so close to final, in recent memory anyway.

I think the last time so far ahead was Josie Gibson

….it’s strange because DS has Ali polling as their favourite to win…and she also polls on there as the one who they would least like to win…I never understand these things…

That was amazing! I loved Aaron and wanted him to win but he was terrible 😂 Is that the only time a villain character has won BB?

(Forgive me if my perception is wrong, I haven’t revisited it since it aired but that’s how I remember it)

Well, it’s like how on here Ali often tops the polls for both most and least favourite housemate 😂 She’s just very divisive m. A true marmite housemate!

…yeah that’s true, actually…when opinions are so polorised…?..it just seems really odd to see someone as the favourite and on the same site, the one that they most want to see leave…

Isabelle was super far ahead; but yes before her I think it was Josie who dominated the odds

Interesting! I suppose I’m sceptical for many reasons, not least bc the producers are quite clearly pushing Marcello for the win lol (especially after that ep)
