When (most) people meet their future partner they build up a flirtation, get to know each other, get to know each others sense of humour and things develop from there over time...

Honestly in a workplace setting even if you THINK you know someone well and that "sexual banter" isn't an issue, people need to be extremely careful that it's not been misread, and to be honest, just plain don't do it unless you're already in an actual relationship.

The number of men who think women are flirting with them just because they're being nice/friendly .
