It probably won't be back for the same reason as last year (mobile operators cannot process votes fast enough - even though that wasn't a problem before BB8 )

I bet BB8 didnt get many votes during its run because there was no text voting. I normally texted my vote and so did lots of my friends.

I hope its back, I didn't vote as much last series because there wasn't text voting. I don't think it will be back after all the problems television programs have had.

I doubt it'll be back. though I don't see why it would be a problem if they made the disclaimer that "any vote made or received after the lines close won't be counted".


I really don't see then how C4/Endemol could be liable for any votes they don't receive in time - after all, if you were voting by post the receiver would never be held responsible for late mail.
