It was harsh and very cutting, we can agree on that. I do think the way she framed it was going about it completely the wrong way, especially as women presuming to tell men what a 'real' man is, is always laughable to me anyway. And I say that as someone who freely acknowledges himself to be far from a paragon of traditional masculinity.

However, analysing the specifics of what she said, I see no problem in her nominating Chesney for essentially saying one thing (and a very noble and empathetic thing, at that) and then repeatedly doing something that seems the complete opposite to that and that demonstrates none of the understanding he'd previously shown to supposedly have for her.
