Not by name or directly on issues particularly.

However it was quite a strong speech of the ties of Canada with the UK and other Countries of the World.

His inclusion of the wording of Canada being the ' TRUE NORTH' ..... as to it being unique.
I'd say was a clear reference to Trump and his attitude towards Canada..

I really was both surprised and impressed.

The King is expected to make the trip in late April. The announcement comes shortly after Donald Trump said he "won't be there to help" the UK anymore. Meanwhile, MP Karl Turner has had the Labour whip suspended

Donald Trump has just reacted to the news that the King and Queen are to go ahead with a state visit to the US.
In a post on his Truth Social network, he wrote: "Melania and I are pleased to announce that Their Majesties, the King and Queen of the United Kingdom, will visit the United States for a historic state visit from 27-30 April, which will include a beautiful banquet dinner at the White House on the evening of 28 April.
"This momentous occasion will be even more special this year, as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of our great country.

i think it's useful, because it gives us 2 chances at keeping the relationship on the rails

What we need to remember is that there are elections in november in the usa that could make a big difference in congress
