For leaving the fridge open. I said Ammi could be due her bad bitch era, but not evil (hopefully), in proper BB if she had a good reason. You responded with Mock left the fridge open and then Ammi bodyslam and I think that was the last thing I read (ominous) before closing up the forum... then I woke up to two deleted dead quote notifications. Kinda creepy, like waking up to two pools of blood and not knowing how they got there. It's too early for Halloween.

With your known potty mouth, that's certainly not surprising

Ammi told me that it looked like one of those Hot Dogs that you'd see at a Baseball game.

Hopefully not a hot-dog you can have as a milkshake. I’d leave that for Five Guys, still.

…I think the ‘popular’ is quite especially applicable to news story threads …

…this is quite an active news story on many internet sites and discussion forums atm…

https://www.thisisbigbrother.com/for...d.php?t=398097

…I’ve just watched the vid this morning and would have commented with my own thoughts and these are the type of news stories that will divide opinion and create discussion, which is exactly what obviously we hope for on an earnest discussion forum and in the SD debate section…so many news stories are just clickbait/samey/outrage/fake news or whatever…just designed and devised to divide…but this isn’t really of the same vein, it isn’t designed to divide but it will divide in thoughts and that’s exactly the input we hope for in a debate…anyway, it’s an on going opinion/story of interest and a shame that it’s been closed down for the moment while it’s at its most current and active in discussion…

When two members keep getting personal then it’s the only outcome I’m afraid

Even myself thought twice about giving an opinion in that thread because I’m sick of having to fend off attacks

Indeed plus no one was getting personal it was a genuine question and I would have responded to Glenn this morning had I had the opportunity, and the video has also been removed as well

Unfortunately the mods have lost their way
If I do wrong and have done wrong on many occasions not so much in recent times I expect an infraction or a ban , because I’ve over stepped the mark

But now instead of infraction and bans of all those involved myself included if I’m to blame for my part is not carried out

We even have banned from a thread which woke in my opinion

The forum is suffering and members are being punished by threads being closed

…well, in my own humble opinion I can also see that/and feel that the forum moderation is trying to evolve because of social media and chat sites etc and so many changes that have seen the end of many forums…so many sites aren't moderated or barely are and I think that TiBB is probably ever trying to find that balance to keep posters and activity etc with a feel of maybe easier moderation of the past when forums where much busier places…

…anyway, I’m going to leave this for now…I just felt a bit deflated that a very topical/active news and internet/media story atm and opportunity for healthy debate …was closed down…

Too many thin skins and what will happen is membership and participation will dwindle as this behavior continues because there's only so many of us and so people will be picked off one-by-one... much like BB, it'll end up with a very boring Final with most of the interest gone.

95% of issues are resolved by simply not responding. It almost always goes away on its own because it gives nothing to reciprocate. 5% are posts from batsh** users anyway who can be sorted out more easily (by mods) if recipients would simply stay uninvolved and let moderators do their job. They'll escalate to the point it will take care of itself. Otherwise, it's making their jobs much more difficult because then they have two rule breakers to sort out. And to be be fair, some of this intentional because certain users want moderators to be involved in their personal spats (they want to be a chosen one). If it's 4am, report the post and let it stay up if it needs to until a moderator can get up, have their coffee and they'll happily remove if it's an unfortunate post.
