They can't, but I haven't advocated for people to pull them down. I have just disagreed with those putting them up for negative and intimidating reasons.

My main point in this thread was that a large proportion of flags going up aren't for patriotism but for protest, which has yet to be proven wrong and in fact has been confirmed to be true.

Yes, but not a protest about immigrants in hotels, a protest about free speech, which is what the organisers have confirmed.
