Not directing this at you, but it's just funny to me how the right wing spend their time being utterly obsessed with trans people and never stop banging on about them and then as soon as trans people themselves speak about themselves they go "stop talking about it!".

People aren't bothered about trans issues being discussed. They are bothered when trans people have a seat at the table to join in the conversation. Maybe they are worried that if their voices are heard then their demonisation doesn't work anymore.

In fairness to Zelah, he isn't the only one who is talking identify politics. How many times do we need to hear George going on about how much he hates the left because of female pop stars or because of the misinformation he's heard about refugees or whatever it is this time? That has essentially been George's entire personality so far.

I don't take it personally, I do actually have some left wing views as well, so all good

What I will say though is that no one cared about trans issues until trans lobbyists started to get aggressive with it. I grew up in a gay household and characters like Quentin Crisp were part of my upbringing, I am so used to the trans conversation.

The rise in more right wing views in the mainstream, IMO, is directly due to the push of the hardcore woke wing of the left. As ever, the radical left creates it's own enemies.

Yes, George speaks (albeit somewhat clumsily) from a more right wing perspective, and you are right, I do give him more room because I broadly agree with him. But, I think that is because we have spent the last 20 years with his views not being allowed so it's still refreshing.

Tbh I hope we get different conversations other than politics. As it can get exhausting.

Apparently they were playing party games on LF and generally having silly fun , I wonder if we'll see any of it in HL .
