He's done a MASSIVE amount for charity and was instrumental in bringing the Olympics to London in 2012. Also, I remember him queuing up with the public to see the Queen lying in state while the likes of Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby used their celebrity status to jumped the queue. Beckham deserves this, good for him.

oh yah sir dave was in line for like 9 or 10 hours at the queen lying in state and the folks who had the change got to meet him while everyone was waiting in line

he was like a regular brit in line with no bodyguards no security even thought the only security there was only the cops for the long line ups

Im with you on this one Joey. Can currently see SIR Dave promoting Stella Lager, Coffee, and what was the other one?!

He was a GOOD footballer, he wasn't anywhere near world class. Vs Greece, yes. Image took him further than actual ability and talent. He also married the least talented Spice Girl. Oh and he queued for the Queen WOW, what a man!!

Like i say, likeable enough bloke, over hyped, no where near world class in football. Mates with TC.
