She was trained from childhood for 15 years and then gave it up for football. Has done dance competitions.

I actually don't really hate anyone in this series, Alex was my least favourite but I didn't dislike her really.

And even Balvinder I don't mind, I just think that she's been uncompetitive and isn't the best dancer, so as a combination I feel like it would be best to see her leave next.

I would like Karen or George to win, same i don't mind Balvinder. the one i would like to see go is Amber but the judges will save her. For me it should be down to the public to get to the final not the judges.

why complain? the public will have the say in determining 2 out of 3 finalists, and the judges determining the third final spot through the last dance off of the series

seems like just fishing for anything to have a go at Amber

No Nicky she wasn't having a go at Amber in the slightest. Over reaction. Milly only meant she was her least favourite, don't take offence. I agree with her that judges save this time should be stopped.

if Balvinder makes the final over either George or Karen, you already know the final won't be exciting anymore


so who cares if Amber is the third finalist next to George and Karen then, main priority should be getting George and Karen to the final with the public votes, then it'll be 50/50 in the final

i myself am glad it isn't only public votes, otherwise you will end up with the comedy cannon fodder in the semi finals and final

and i also saw certain haters saying Amber and Nikita lack chemistry, which also isn't true, she is Nikita's best partner on par with Layton, someone able to match up with his showy personality and wacky routines

Amber Davies has broken her silence following Lewis Cope’s Strictly Come Dancing exit and the backlash she has received for her perfect scores.

The ex-Love Island star replaced Dani Dyer at the last minute on the BBC series after Dani was forced to leave the show early due to an injury.

Since then, the 29-year-old has faced criticism for her previous West End dance experience, which fans have claimed has given her an ‘unfair advantage’.

This has intensified following a ‘terrifying’ dance off against the Emmerdale star during the quarter finals that ended in Lewis and his professional partner Katya Jones being eliminated.

After the result aired, Amber took to Instagram to say the dance-off ‘broke her heart.’

Sharing several pictures from the show, she wrote: ‘I will always be your number 1 fan @Lewiscope To go up against one of the greatest dancers Strictly has ever seen was simply terrifying, however I was actually dancing against my best friend in this competition, and that broke my heart.

‘Lewis & @katyajones you won this competition as soon as you showed us & the world your couples choice on Halloween week. It was pure perfection just like your partnership.

‘Thank you for being mine and @Nikita__kuzmin’s champions from day one, that means more to us than anything else. You’re both simply the greatest of all time & I love you both immensely.’

She also hit back at viewers who are accusing her of ‘essentially doing her day job’ following a streak of 40 out of 40 scores.

Responding to a clip of her Charleston to Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ The Boat from Guys and Dolls, Amber commented on Instagram: ‘Guys, please.. it’s really is just a television show. I wasn’t even supposed to be in the comp.

‘You have no idea what we put our mind and body through for this experience.. I’m really just trying my best with the opportunity that came to me. To anyone who has left a NICE comment thank you. Xx.’


Writing beneath the former Love Islander’s comment, several fans rushed to her defence.
