Default Would you ride a helicopter?
By no means as safe a form of transportation as aeroplanes, and sometimes it feels like even cars doing 80 on the motorway are less risky. Is there any chance of getting you on one, or is it a firm no?

Yeah, I know people who had to be transported to hospital by helicopter and they didn’t have a conscious choice. It just had to be done.

Would love to take one of those helicopter flights over New York City at night, all of those lights. Bucket list stuff.

A friend of mine took one over the Grand Canyon once and said it was just incredible.

I've taken about 200 helicopter flights. It's an interesting experience. It's a lot more basic than a plane, and a lot noisier. I've also flown in bad weather conditions, and that's not fun as you don't fly high enough to get above the weather. Generally speaking, it's fine flying in them but i've also had a few hairy moments that i wouldn't like to repeat

No to the hot air balloon. I've seen them come down unexpectedly, you can't steer them, you're at the mercy of the wind and weather... Not for me.
