Default Bullying - BB has a responsibility

Was it just me who was very uncomfortable watching the catch-up show last night, which clearly showed some of the housemates using bullying tactics to break Sam?

I'm not a big fan of Sam, but I felt really sorry for her after the hiding of the make-up bag.

I know it may seem trivial but I was left feeling dreadfully uncomfortable that nobody was stepping in. (Derek? Daddy of the house?)

I wear a 'Beat The Bully' wristband as I was a victim myself. Lesley et al should be ashamed!

As a massive Britney fan, I am disgusted by Craig, Vanessa and Lesley being called Team Britney.

Using her name in vain for their childish antics

But back to the point.......

BB should have just put the bullies up, so as to show that they would not condone it

because no one other than you is going to vote for them!

by voting for lesley, ur not just getting rid of a bully, but ur opening craig and vanessa up to reveal their true identities

I would rather get Lesley out this week while we have chance because think about it Sam will probably be up next week anyway whereas Lesley probably wont be.

Bullying is a major issue around the world and the housemates who are being watched should stop it

Atleast if Lesley goes Vanessa will have to live with the fact she has contributed in signing her friends death warrant. With the housemates now knowing what Vanessa has done the odds are she will be up again next week anyway.

Yes I reckon Vanessa will be up next week. As for BB stopping bullying, they should definitely have done something about it, otherwise they are letting viewers see housemates getting bullied for entertainment - and I think there's something wrong with that.

It did seem that lesley was doing alot of bullying and i think
they should if they havent all ready have a word with them about it.

Although it does show the bullys of the world what it is like.

Then again it may just be good editing from BB and Sam does deserve it.

I do think that Sam was bullied a bit but she deserbved it...like even something as small as taking someones make up bag can make them feel victimised. She may have thought it was just a lauugh but to Lesley it may have seemed bery different.

In the reak world if something happens to ya and everyone laughs, like you may not liek it.Some take it in their stride some dont.

Now I think the way Sam was treated was totally fair, obviously its a casoe of what comes around goes around.Get Sam out.

I can see your point. But I don't think that bullying should be used as a form of entertainment. Incidentally, I don't think Sam is above bullying other people herself.

should violence, murder, war, crime or sex be used as a form of entertainment?

if you answer to this is no then what are you left with? Blue Peter? take a look

or is bullying some kind of no-go area whereas murder is fine?

if anything the alleged bullying that is going on in BB will enlighten rather than encourage as we see all sides/results etc, whatever I dont see the actions of Lesley being responsible for the decline of Western Civilisation as we know it

Fair enough. Although I didn't exactly say that Lesley was responsible for the decline of Western civilisation!

I love crime shows such as CSI, which show murder, hate crimes etc., and yes I do see that as entertainment - but if you saw someone being violent in the BB house (for example) would you say that that should be allowed as well? Surely not. To be honest, I do think Lesley is a spiteful cruel bully; hiding the make up bag wasn't such a bad thing, but refusing to give it back when Sam was upset, was bad. Personally I think Sam (who I am not a fan of at all) over reacted completely, but that being said, the decent thing would have been to give it back. Lesley said about herself in her audition tape that she was really two faced and very bitchy - she's certainly shown that to be true. However if it had been my make up bag, I wouldn't have reacted like Sam did - I'm not that hung up about having my lip gloss to hand.

violence up to a point is what the viewers want, Channel 4 know this and even had a 'fight night' special program last year, its also the reason why we have so many volatile characters in the house this year

soon they'll be voted out and there will be posts on this site saying its 'boring' now so and so have gone

I think it's boring already to be honest. I watch out of habit, but if it keeps on like this, I don't think I'll watch to the end of the series. All the constant arguing and snapping at each other is very tiresome. You're right - people do want conflict up to a point (BB4 was boring because mainly people got on well together) - but when that's all that's happening, it does get boring.

Ratings are apparently going down for BB this year - some nights even the tosh that is Celebrity Love Island is beating it in for viewers, and many people have said that they find the show boring.

Im not going to rant and rave about this stupidness from the housemates but all i will say thanks to Anthony and Maxwell because ive been watching the live stream and it seems they are finally quiting Lesleys freedom to take the piss out of Sam who is completely innocent in all this Lesley to go

I heard that Max and Anthony stuck up for Sam, and told Lesley to leave her alone. Good for them - I don't like Sam, but Lesley has been vile.
