a bit tough on Makosi seeing she came out of the box an hour earlier only to have bb end it a bit later with no warning. It just seems unfair that all the other three are given the treats and not her. Still thats the unfairness of BB

Confirmation from the C4 Website:

The task has finished and Big Brother has asked Housemates to come out of their boxes. But the three winners don't believe it.

Big Brother's tricks and temptations have made the Housemates slightly paranoid. They simply don't believe that the task is over, preferring to stay in their boxes thank you very much.

"For unsurpassed commitment to living in a box, living in a cardboard box. For stamina above and beyond the call of duty and for stamina, the likes of which has never been witnessed in the Big Brother House. Anthony, Derek and Roberto, Big Brother salutes you. You are all winners."

"You may now leave your boxes," Big Brother told the boys. "This is NOT a giraffe."

"I'm not sure, guys," Roberto said uncertainly.

"They could be tricking you," Makosi said, she went to the Diary Room to check with Big Brother.

Unfortunately, Makosi ended up crying because she's so gutted about quitting the task just a couple of hours before and missing out on the prize.

Meanwhile Derek, Anthony and Roberto waited nervously in their boxes.

Poor Makosi.

Wonder how Big Brother is going to convince Anthony, Derek & Roberto to believe him, and come out?

I know BB reserve the right to change the rules however earlier in the box task when BB asked them to put out the white flag and they all did it except Roberto and Derek as they didnt hear the word Giraffe? Everyone else put out the flag including Anthony so basically if Giraffe was like simon says, he put his flag up therefore he failed! or was it the other way round? I hate it when BB confuse peeps

I don't feel sorry for Makosi. She did really well to stay in that long, but she knew that if she got out of the box while anybody was left in it, she would not win the task.

I think the reason that they didnt want to come out of the boxes was that they actually preferred being in the boxes rather than mixing with the others.
