I don't think that's true. A lot of people just don't think she's a very good presenter. Not sure how that makes them bitter or childish. If anything, her response is childish.
I think a lot of these presenters are just used to being surrounded by people telling them how great they are all the time. There is certainly a bit of arrogance to her comments. She can't think she's perfect surely?!
She'd look better if she were a bit more modest and took it on the chin.
