hmmmmmmmmmm depends where and who by
If I were in a shop I would'nt like being called girl, because of my age.
same too for a restraunt or any stranger I meet high st ..bus ect

With friends I don't mind any of the three, but generally I prefer lady or collectively ladies or women

Yes, me too 25 a good cut off point although for me i stretched it to 30

then "girl (s)" seemed all of a sudden to be weird and strangely embarrasing.
Now at 45, I would class being called girl as fighting talk

I always think that saying "ladies" comes across as a bit...cheesy, if that makes sense. And as if you're trying to flirt, especially when you're saying it to a group of girls (there. I say girls. Haha.)

I agree, but then lady singular sounds fine. Like in a shop if an annoying little bratkid is standing in your way, IT'S mum says "mind the lady, Bo-Jangle-Bruce-Tyson-Cruz"

I've only ever been called a woman in one of those corny speeches 'You're grown into lovely young women',its usually girls and ladies like Loz said if some kid is annoying you and their mum gives out to them.

Personally I used the term lady if I refer to anyone to be in their late 20's onwards.

I myself dont really care so long as its polite
