The problem is, Darnell made his own choices to get involved in illegal activities in America, and then was asked to leave.
He alone made those choices, he cannot expect other people to have to listen to his "victim" attitude about how hard done by he is. He made the choice, he made a mistake, he has paid for that mistake by having to live apart from his family. He should move on.
The problem is he will never be able to move on until he stops playing the victim. The other part of Darnell is his ego, everything is about him, this also ties in with the "victim mode" and make everything about him.
He would be a psychologists dream.
