Ok right loads of crap is going on in my life right now but i want to know if this sounds really tight.

Back in 2004 My family and i moved to england. I was in year 6. But in the summer of 2004 my grandma died in a house fire in scotland. It was really sad and as soon as we found out we went straight to where my grandad was staying ( he was at my anties house because he had to go to hospital cause he tried to save my gran ). we got there at like 1 at night and i remember it quite well. We had no where to stay so we had to get a hotel. anyway the next day my parents and grandad went to see if the half of the house ( half got ruined and half was ok ) was ok.. It was so we stayed there for the rest of the summer.

After the summer was over we used to travel ( for 5 hours ) every week end to make surer my grandad was ok. we did this for like a year then went every month or so.

Anyway thats not my point. Last christmas we went to a party for someone's b-day and my grandad met this woman. We thought she was nice at first but then she started saying stupid things like she sensed roman taverns in my grandads shop ( wtf is a tavern? ) and my grandad told her about him feeling some one tap him on the back when no one was there and she said that it was my grandma accepting her being there ( which is a complete lie cause if my gran knew what was happening she would punch him lol ).
Anyway our family had a huge argument with him because he always left us at the house to go and see this woman ( after we travelled 300 miles ). he had to call her at Pacific times or it was over so if he had company he would get up and leave. We ended up leaving an we haven't spoken for like 3 months.
Until today. My dad and grandad are on the phone now. and it sounds like we could go back there. I really don't want to go back there. Thats why i made this topic. Does it sound horrible that i dont want to go there???
Its not just because i am angry at my grandad its that all sorts of thing have happen when i am there.
One this is that the day we first stayed at my grandads house after the fire, I heard my grandma say my name. It wasnt in a scary way, It sounded normal.
Another thing that happened was that, after my grandad met this freak woman i woke up one night and looked in the corner of the room and there was a black figure stood over my sister. I wasn't scared but later that night i heard footsteps and was in hysterics.

I was never so scared in my life. Do u think these reasons are pathetic for not wanting to go back????

I feel so stupid for raising this on a fourm but i don't know what to do .

i can see why it would be a bit scary to go back but the precense might be your grandma, and she might want you to come

If I was you I wouldnt want to go either. Esp if you have been messed about in the past with it.

But remember at the end of the day he is your grandfather and a member of your family and you are maybe too young to start blocking your family members from your life. You may regret that later on.

i think it might be because ( yes this is sounds so sad but ) my grandma would never try and scare me, and when i saw the thing i wasnt scared at all. i was just like oh my god. but i got scared at the footsteps so i don't know what that was. and another thing is that there was a terrible smell like every night in me and my sisters bedroom ( at grandads house ) and it was only there for like 2 mins.
Like some one really smelly walks past you. I always thought it could have been a ghost ( dont ask ) and when my mum told me that thats what burnt flesh smelt like i was so scared.
and i know what you mean sia but i just don't know what to do x

It's understandable that you don't want to go back, but like Annie said, you shouldn't fall out with your family members.

thanks lol. I forgot to put in my post that my grandad said really really horrible things about my grandma when he was arguing with my parents. He is an alcoholic and gets impaitent really easily. I can remember he used to have me and my sisters crying alot. and he use to stumble and it was scary. when we were on the way home on the night of the fight my mum told us that he kicked once when she was little. He was drunk then too. She also said that if my dad wasnt there on the night of the fight he would have hit her again. He was talking aggressivly to my dad ( he prefers my dad and you can tell. i think its wrong cause my dads not even his son! my mum is his daughter ) so i wonder what he would of done to my mum. me and my sisters were away at the neighbors house so didnt know what happened.

I should have put this in my main post but it hard to explain what i did. cause i like know what happened i forgot to put in about the whole alcohlic thing. its really hard to explain but you just think everyone knows what you havent said. sorry to confuse you x

I dont mean ANY OFFENCE by this, but hitting a woman is really low.... my advice is if you don't want to go back, don't... i'm sure you could stay at a friends or something
