Even though I wouldn't have a husband (
 ) I'd keep the promise, I've been there before with another family member (but not helping them die obviously) and its not nice to see them unrecognisable and weak. Its a massive relief when they actually do die and as cruel as it sounds I was looking forward to it because it was that bad.
