![]() Take That have set a new record. They sold 350,000 tickets in less than an hour for their 2009 summer stadium tour of the UK, making it the fastest selling UK tour ever. Tickets for the shows went on sale at 9am (GMT) and have all sold out, leading the band to add four more dates - at Sunderland on June 15, Glasgow on June 19, Manchester on June 24 and 1 July in London. Take That's full tour is now as follows. Sunderland Stadium Of Light (June 6, 15) Cardiff Millennium Stadium (16) Glasgow Hampden Park (19, 20) Manchester Old Trafford Cricket Ground (24, 26, 27, 28) London Wembley Stadium (July 1, 3, 4) When the tour was announced on Tuesday, the band said: "All of us are really looking forward to getting back on the road next summer. "We can think of no better way to thank everyone for their support and loyalty over the past three years." "This will be the biggest tour we have ever done so we'll be working especially hard over the next few months to make it the best and most exciting Take That tour yet." Their new single Greatest Day is due out on 24 November with the album The Circus following on 1st December. |
