Default CBB6 Ratings Thread
Only 10 days until CBB6 kicks off so we need the ratings thread

Series Averages:

Celebrity Big Brother 1: 5.2m
Celebrity Big Brother 2: 4.4m
Celebrity Big Brother 3: 4.3m
Celebrity Big Brother 4: 4.9m
Celebrity Big Brother 5: 4.6m

The launch show has competition from Morecambe and Wise: the Show What Paul Merton Did and Midsomer Murders. So whatever the launch ratings are we can't blame them on strong competition for the same audience.
The series looks to run in the 9pm slot for all of its run
Any predictions for the launch show and series average?

I think I may lower my prediction for the launch, the advertising is poor and there doesn't seem to be any excitement about the series by the press or public.

But when I think that I just can't think of a reason why they would want to destroy the show which brings in 3million people including 1million 16-34's every nigh for 4months of the year. It must be making them a huge profit still but it does seem that they are slowly trying to kill it

Why I Love Celebrity Big Brother got less than 0.8 million on C4 last night but it had been on E4 twice before.
CBB is on the front of a few newspapers and the rumoured line-up is quite good.
However advertising has been the worst its ever been for a Big Brother series
So ratings could go either way tonight

ive not seen one advert on "TV" as of yet. so if ive not see one then how the public meant to know its on!

i did take into consideration that i haven't been watching allot of channel 4 and E4 lately but still thats because their has been no programmes to persuade me to turn over to them to catch a glimpse of a BB advert! so i can imagine its the same for the rest of the UK!

tonight most of the viewers will be the one's who don't know its on and quickly catch it flicking through the channels!

looking at the previous ratings only makes me worried for the series average and launch night figures! as each series following seems to rate worse! i didnt know they were so low for CBB..................

sorry guys i predict the same as CBB 2 or if were luck CBB 4??? dont get me wrong i would love it if my prediction is wrong, but even if it is then the series average will still be the lowest yet!

Lets hope there is no booing on the live launch as it so disrespectful to the celebs when they haven't even been given a chance! producers should tell the crowd not to "boo" on launch night and finally night! u cant boo the winner its ridiculous!

I think where in the past BB has launched strong and fallen sharply, the opposite could happen this time due to the good cast but poor advertising. Expect a poor launch rating but with ratings stabalising and perhaps even improving slightly as the show goes on.
