BIG Brother has been accused of pushing Mutya Buena towards meltdown by letting sex pest Coolio go too far.

Both Mutya and fellow housemate Tina Malone say the remaining female contestants will suffer the same fate if the outrageous rapper is not brought to heel.

Tearful Mutya stormed off the Channel 4 show on Friday screaming: “I’m going mad! Forget the money and anything else!”

The former Sugababe was given the chance to return yesterday but vowed: “I just want to go home to my daughter. I can’t stand the thought of going through nomination and eviction again. I will crack up. I am 100% sure.”

And Tina, 45, who was evicted earlier, raged: “Coolio crossed the line every day.”

Mutya’s family blame show chiefs for ignoring how upset she was getting. One source said: “She was really suffering in there and it was obvious to those who loved her.

Any longer on the show and she would have gone totally crazy.”

The 23-year-old mum – who has a boyfriend back home – has told her relatives how:

She became terrified for the future of her relationship because lusty Coolio would get her into “trouble”.

She was tormented by sleeplessness even after Big Brother fed her with pills – which, she says, made her feel ill.

She went crazy with home-sickness because she so missed her three-year-old daughter Tahlia-Maya.

A pal said: “It all added up to a perfect storm of pain.

“Mutya has had a horrible time in there. It certainly wasn’t worth the £75,000 fee for appearing and she’s ready to forfeit that. She’s shell-shocked by it all.

“She had to suffer endless sexual advances from Coolio, with him bragging he was going to have her and even trying to nuzzle her and kiss her.

“It was horrifying and she spent a lot of time terrified.”

Yesterday, Michelle Heaton was driven to tears by Coolio’s behaviour. And Tina warned that more girls would walk out.

She said: “I got close to Mutya, Ulrika and LaToya and they would have missed me dreadfully. Mutya had had enough and she walked out because I had gone. We are very close and we are really good mates.

“Coolio crossed the line every day. All the suggestiveness with Mutya was too much. He’s old enough to be her dad!

“The way he talks to the women is not a good idea. I was the only woman in there to fight back.”

Channel 4 has received scores of complaints about the 45-year-old gangsta rapper’s behaviour.

Tina accused the boys in the house of failing to stand up to the US star and joining in with his bullying.

She spat: “The guys were encouraging him and didn’t help the situation. They were egging him on, sometimes applauding him.”

And she insisted she would never have hooked up with Coolio…

“I wouldn’t shag him if I was 35 stone!” She also made it plain that she had little time for A1 singer Ben Adams or former Liberty X star Michelle – whom she described as “brain dead”.

She added: “Ben is far too in love with himself. And, unless you’re talking about hair extensions or fake tan, Michelle isn’t interested.

“I’m not a twisted fat bird but Michelle thought she was like Lucy Pinder and she wasn’t.”
