Hey.
So...I feel TiBB is getting pretty lame atm so I'm just 'gonna throw some ideas out there for ways I feel the forum could generally improve.

1. Forum Curreny

- Loads of forums use this and I think it'd really work for TiBB, you could pay people for doing you favours, making good posts or even making you graphics. I think it would be a really good think for the forum, so yeah consider.

2. 'Mood' Graphics

- Inspired by livejournal I think it'd be a great idea to allow small graphics to be put in the 'Mood' section of the profile.
e.g
- pissed off
- hopefull
- jubilant
ect ect

3. Journals

A little section in members profiles where they can blog, post their recent graphics or pictures. It'd really add a new side to the forum.

4. Signature Size Limit

Its faarrrrr to small. Some graphics get cut off and it makes it look all fugly.

Same as Locke. In fact I hate the idea of no.4, some peoples' signatures are way too big as it is. And since my connection's awful, a lot of time is wasted waiting for peoples' stupid banners (which often turn out to be bloody music video gifs) to load.

And I don't know enough about the currency idea to comment on it. Not fussed with the mood system as it is.

You could turn sigs off in your control panel

Like Locke and Picto, I disagree with all those ideas except #3. I believe James is STILL looking into adding blogs...

Plus, I agree about the size limit thing. Mine kept getting off when it wasn't even over the limit that much. Infact, it didn't even move when I clicked "show full signature", it was that pesky button making it too big.

I like the idea of blogs, that would be a good addition to the forum. However, I don't know how hard that would be to add as an application.

I think the sig size limit is a bit small, what I really hate though, is the "show full signature" sign. That really bugs me and is annoying. I think the admins should make the sig size limit about 30-50% bigger than it is at the moment.

IMO the currency would be crap and annoying, I don't like the mood pics either, they are just pointless.

3, I have been thinking about doing something along those lines for a while. It's just a question of getting round to it etc...

4, I reckon the signature limit is quite generous - people have to scroll through a sig they've seen probably seen before to get to the next post. It might even be easier to get rid of the button to expand it and just use a fixed limit.

Also some of the animations I have seen are rather slow loading - like MBs - so it would be a help to reduce those a bit. It slows down the loading of pages - especially if you open more than page at once.
