To be fair I think with BB8 the reason most the tasks failed were that the housemates could just not be bothered. There was still the odd gem - the channel swimming task was classic BB really, while Big Brother's Birthday was a nice idea too, but it was mainly the lack of effort on the housemates part which scuppered the tasks.

Last year they were improved, but I agree they relied far too much on splitting tasks up - and doing them in 2 days wasn't a great idea either.
