It would have been hilarious if they had seized the furniture during Big Brother! You can almost see PJ leading the revolt to stop them taking it, and Alex and Adele saying "No those are the rules..." or something!
The next bit would have been locking them in one bedroom then the other whilst the programmers went to IKEA to get replacements! "This is Big Brother! Your task will be to assemble 12 beds, and two armchairs, a coffee table, and other items of furniture against the clock. If you fail, you won't have anywhere to sleep tonight!"
