It might be worth looking at Ebay. Sorry, that's the best I can suggest!

I'm stubbornly sticking to my cd-player. Anything that small but efficient is bound to be complicated.

You know Fangz, it's not that complicated. Well if my Mum is able to use it then it must be of some simplistic level.

I-pods are great though, you should definately invest in one Kizwiz.

Yes an ipod is an mp3 player.

As for picking up a cheap one - well you can pick up very cheap ones, but they don't have much storage space.

If you want to put on a lot of albums = you will need to spend more. To store 6000 tracks you need about 20mb. The cost for a player to store that much ranges from about Ł140-Ł200

If you only want to store a few albums you can get one for just a few squids.

Kelkoo is a good place to look

I don't like how iPods only play copy-protected tracks downloaded from i-tunes, they don't play music from other download services like MSN Music.

Walkers Crisps currently have a competition giving away iPods every 5 minutes.

You have to get a unique code off your crisp packet.

I've entered twice but not won one yet

They don't give anyone Ipods. They just pretend they do so that people buy their crisps.
It's top-secret, so if anyone asks, I wasn't the one to tell you. Sssh!

Ummm, what kind of iPod you after? I think I know of a site where if you refer enough people to it, they send you a free item of your choice from the list, although whether iPod's are there IDK, but they do have mp3 players, some really nifty little things!

i-pod mini's had a really bad write up for battery failure and in fact watchdog reported on the just last week. It might be worth checking this out before buying one. Charlottesometimes is right though the new Sony one looks much better

Yeah, apparently battery's are failing, and I have an iPod mini! *gulp* Considering that the battery wears down within the time of me going to school and then coming home, to the extent that I really need to charge it while my friend's survived a 16-hour journey, scares me...
