I'm devastated my dog Tessa died today, she was 14. She was a beautiful dog and wouldn't harm a fly... I didn't even know and I came home to see everyone crying and I didn't have a clue... they didn't want to text me while I was at work.

She's the one on the left, the one on the right is Buster he's her son.




I know some of you may not get but losing a pet to me is just as bad as losing another human being. She was family.

I've never had a dog, but I know what it's like to have a pet be with you through so much of your lfie and then die. It's horrible. I hope you're doing fine.

&I'm so sorry Ross. I'll be a wreck when either of my dogs die. We rescued an abused one not so long ago and she was so badly treated and left with infection that she has an appointment tomorrow to see if the insides of her ears need removing.

Omg, i'm sorry to hear that.
I can totally relate to the pets being like family thing, my cat who I'd had since I was a baby died last May and I cried more than I'd cried about ANYTHING.

i know exactly what you mean saying she wasnt just a pet she was family...thats how i felt about my dog. was gutted when he had to be put down
