I don't really understand why some people think that a female hitting a male is acceptable but men are not supposed to hit women. It's utterly stupid. Yes, men are usually stronger but I don't think they shouldn't defend themselves and let the other persons gender hold them back or get in the way of attacking them. So yes, I would stand up and defend myself, most definitely and not be scared what other people think just because it's a woman.
