This reminds me of my Church which has far too many spoiled evangelical quasi-legalist types:
For some reason smoking is now such an abhorrent sin that they determine the person is not only 'living in sin' but some suppose the person cannot even be a Christian at all. yet, Interestingly, antagonizing your children for 20 years until you drive them to wrath, or, constantly being rude to everyone in the Church, or, making part-time jobs out of gossiping, or, buying 70,000 cars and dont even think to give the old car to the guy in the Church who is poor and struggling to get a job.... .. for some reason these don't count as ongoing sins...but hey.. you dont see them smoking do you huh? They aren't smoking. Why if someone else is smoking cigarettes then there is your culprit right there and how can they smoke like that huh? I mean seriously I am not saying smoking isn't bad for a person but it just amazes me that smoking is now all it takes for someone to be deemed all wrong, yet, nobody is upset about 9 people fukkin destroying each others souls, ruining reputations, cursing the world around them, practicing the very worst in human behaviors. Anyways.. ..Lisa is not on the dole right now and is making plenty of money and she can be provided cigarettes as per her agreement with her employer if they so decided that. Further more - if she keeps buying cigarettes then most of that money goes to government anyways. If she dies of cancer before 65 then her smoking saves the rest of the taxpayers a LOT of money. enough to cover her assistance. |
