I've been thinking about this, the producers decided who's gonna go in front of the judges right? I don't think it ends there, there's always been really bizarre choices made with some contestants (like with this year John and edward getting so far and possibly into the top 12) that really aren't that good.

I think the producers have the final say on the contestants really, that's why people like Chico and J&E have got so far, they make 'good TV' (Eurgh).

I agree to an extent, but Louis would have put JandE through anyways, as would Sharon and Chico.

Maybe but isn't the x factor Simon Cowell's show? I suppose the producers have a little say but I really want John and Edward through. We need an act for comic value. Happens every year

At first I thought J&E got through because of Louis but all of the other judges would of said no,so you must be right.

Yeah, if simons like definate no, and also Danni and Cheryl belives it unfair, Loius could'nt win them all over, the Producers wanted to put them through to at least Judges houses for Entertainment, but as Loius has them They got into the final 12.
