Looks like Britneys dad is the one to blame for britneys Sloppy cheography on BH.com he fired Wade robson, britneys best cheographer. I knew this ling time ago but still Her managent seriously need to loosen there strings, Blackout is britneys best album ever every song could of been a single, if she had promoted it I think it would of done a Fantasticly well sales wise. I hope for her next album she's In controll. Larry Rudolf still thinks she's in her baby one more time days

anyyone who thinks every track on Blackout could have been a single is seriously deluded. It's a very solid album, by far her best work, but still a complete mess. the four singles released from it are the only track with any single potential on it. the rest are would have flopped.

No they wouldn't have, Toy Soldior, Get Naked, Hot as Ice, Perfect Lover, heaven on earth IMO is great very 80s beat to it, and Get Back all would of charted well if promoted. Blackout is her best work I don't understand how blackout is a mess.... It's a fantastic album.

And I only got Circus because of Blackout.

I don't even like the bitch.
But Blackout was amazing.

it was amazing, no doubt. and most definitely superior to Circus. but far, far less commerical and almost totally unmarketable. It will forever go down as the hidden gem in her career.

WOW!
Well if that's the case, Britney must have apsolutely **** all to do with her music so.
Look at the writing and production credits for the tracks on Blackout.
She only had a hand in co-writing "Ooh Ooh Baby" with 3 other people and "Freakshow" with 5 others.
Out of 12 songs that's pretty pathetic. And you tell me that I'm wrong?

Keri Hilson made more of a contribution on that album then she did LMAO!

Puh-lease!
The only reason it was unmarketable is that if they had spent a few hundred thousand on a lavish promotional campaign like they normally do, it would've been immediatly haulted because she was in the papers and tabloids pretty much every day back then for going off her rocker.

They weren't going to waste their money trying to promote an album when she was out being a crazy ****er on a day to day basis.

Britney herself made the album, which btw is her most commercial I think, unmarkatable by acting the crazy person.

Britney was the executive producer of the album, the only time she's ever done that. She produced most of the songs and co-wrote two. And also the fact that if she had still been with Larry then, they wouldn't have her making an album like Blackout. She got to decide totally what the album sounded like. And that's the most creative control she's ever had.

yeah, is Larry had been behind blackout i dont think it would of been as good as it was. i think its time she moved on from Larry, yeah hes good but back in the day, hes marketing britney as the sweet little angel well trying to, Britney needs to be back in control of her albums blackout PROVED this, she decided the sound, style ect of what it should sound like.

And omg have you heard Get back, omg it like soo adictive i heard thaat was gonna be the 1st release but they changed it.

Jesus, was I in a bad mood or what last night lol?

But I'm looking at the sleeve here. It gives who produced all the tracks. Her name isn't there after any of the songs for either Producer, co-production or vocal production.
At the back of the album it says Executive producer: Britney Spears.
Means nothing to me. They always say that anyways, just to make it look like the artist had something to do with the actual music.
She probably siad "right, I want to sound like that" and then people like Keri Hilson and Kara DiaGuardi went off, wrote songs for her and producers came in like Danja and The Neptunes and produced the songs and she basically just said "Yes, I like that" or "No". That's what it seems like to me looking at the actual evidence of the sleeve.

I'm not saying she she wrote every song from scratch or w/e. I'm just saying, it's more than what she did on any other album, Blackout and In The Zone she had the most control.

And Blackout and ITZ went on to be the best albums she's ever produced! Something tells me she should always have more control on her albums.

I disagree, Get Naked, Perfect Lover and Freakshow are 3 of the best singles she has done, along with the already released such as Gimme More and Piece Of Me. Get Naked is my ultimate fave unreleased track that she has done along with probably Unusual You and Lonely.
IMO, Blackout is only slightly better than Circus (Britney the album is my fave album, then Blackout and then Circus).

Unusual You, Kill the Lights and Mannequinn are the 3 HLS of Circus.

Default Spears father 'leaves star isolated'

Britney Spears has reportedly been feeling "out of it" due to the control her father Jamie is exerting over her.

Sources close to the singer have claimed that his commanding ways are leaving her isolated and cut off from the world.

"She is so out of it she just doesn't care anymore," an insider told Fox News. "She just does what she's told and is totally in her world. She'll even call people at all hours of the night for a general conversation and acts like it's the middle of the day or something."

Of Jamie's actions, they added: "He's really trying to clean up her image. He's making a lot of changes to the people around her. Everyone is a bit on edge they could be the next one to be replaced.

"Britney's family have seen what happens when she gets too close to outsiders and they lose control, they don't want it happening again."

Look I love every track on Blackout, without exception, I could listen to them all for ages. But if you think tracks like Freakshow, Perfect Lover, Heaven On Earth, Why Should I Be Sad, Hot As ice would have done well as singles, you are fooling yourself.

First of all MiuMiu idk wtf you're talking about, when I mentioned it was unmarketable, I was not referring to her public image or personal problems at all. The actual music is not radio friendly, it doesnt appeal to as wide a demographic as her previous and current material. It's gritty, sleazy [in a good way], raw and racy, something which does not fare well with the public domain. So yes, it was her best body of work by far and Michael is right in saying that it is BY FAR the most creative control she's ever had and sadly, probably will ever have, but besides the 4 singles released [and even then BTI was a risk which certainly didnt pay off, which could be attributed to lack of promotion but I doubt it would have done much better even with that] the rest of that album is not single material. However they are all very strong, solid electronica pop songs.

BTI would of done much better if the video was better, but I personally like the animation video.

Get Naked and Freakshow WOULD have done well!! Yes okay, Get Naked isnt exactly a radio friendly song, but they would have done better than Break The Ice and Radar. WSIBS could even have worked.
I agree about perfect Lover and Heaven on Earth not doing well.

I do think that Toy Soldier would also have done very well too.

Freakshow = flop. not many would disagree, there's nothing remotely commercial, radio friendly, appealing about that song what so ever, the lyrics are trashy, the beat is non existent, everything is tacky. I love it, one of my album faves but it just screams epic flop. Few with an acute knowledge of the charts would disagree.
