This has just come to me...
George Galloway may have screwed up his political career by entering the CBB house, but in a way he has been successful. Think about it - people have been discussing politics in a way they wouldn't have before. His dealings with Saddam Hussein and his family were exposed, and had more people talking about the Iraq war, many of whom had stayed away from the subject before. |

Nothing has been 'exposed', other than a video tape of him meeting Saddam's son. The fact that he'd been to Iraq on several occasions in the past has been public knowledge for quite some time. And I've not heard anyone discussing the illegal occupation of Iraq any more than they did before, either.

People were, however, discussing the tape, which brought up the Iraq war. I have heard people, not on this forum, but around my home town, who weren't even interested before CBB.

Maybe so, but it should also be remembered that on the very same day, the Daily Telegraph lost their appeal for the judgement made against them for libellous comments they printed about him to be overturned, wich was also about his involvement with Iraq.
