I'm really glad to see Richard Ashcroft back - I love his new song. I also love the White Stripes latest CD.

Other than that I tend to listen to a lot of Robert Plant/Led Zep, Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Ian Brown and Fun Lovin' Criminals.

I used to loathe Robbie Williams, but just lately I have started to warm to him a bit. I loved Trippin'.

Trippin' is a really good song Ruth, i have never actually been a Robbie Williams fan but that one song was a good one.

Yep, Rich is ace, Ruth! Good to see him back... shame it's not with the Verve as a whole.

White Stripes new one is really good too. But as for Robbie...

Hi all, everyone been having a nice time since BB finished last summer??? Thought I'd stick my head in and have a nosey about TIBB now that celeb BB has kicked off. But I couldn't let this thread pass me by, so it's time to educate all you lot on the best music available (except maybe for Ruth, cos she seems to have good taste already, Led Zep rule!!! Love the sig Ruth)!

Anyway, no good music has been made since 1979!! Exceptions to this would be Chilli Peppers, some Metallica, Nirvana, White Stripes, a little known band called Black Keys, the last couple of Springsteen albums and the greatest rock band in the last 20 years; Tenacious D!!! There's probably a few others but not many.

Led Zeppelin were the greatest band ever. Ever, no argument

Other great bands/artists that I listen to include:

Bob Dylan
Groundhogs
Hendrix
Cream
John Mayall's Bluesbreakers
Rory Gallagher
The Doors
Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac (not the horrible 80's version of the band)
Pink Floyd
The Stones
Clapton (although too much rubbish stuff in the 80's)

There's a load more, but mostly of the same ilk as above. Good music should be at least 30 years old and consist of mostly long complicated guitar solos!

Rock on......

Slartibartfast, you have exemplary taste in music! (and tv too - if I remember rightly - another West Wing fan)?

Good to see you back

Anyone heard that song Crazy by Gnarls Barkley? It's not out until April but I reckon it's going to be a big hit, really catchy.
