I don't know if there is a recommened amount, but I currently have 6 internet windows open, as well as 2 Microsoft Word Documents, Notepad, Microsoft Outlook and an Accounts package I use.
I regularly have more than this. I would presume it would depend on the spec of your machine and also what programs you have open as some things use more memory than others. |
