I think it's the only way he knows, he is trying to dominate them, but it's up to Alex to stop him, which he easily could, but doubt he will

*sigh* sick of saying this lol

Footballers do this kind of put down banter it is part of team sport and I assume because Alex is a sportsman he feels it is part of getting to know you.

I don't know how Alex will take it as it goes on as his sport is very much one on one, but I can understand how it might appear harsh but it is just part of team sports behaviour.

lol I can't believe some people think this a genuine way a grown man of Vinnie Jones background would "have a go" at someone, have none have you playing in any kind of team sport?

I totally accept it could be taken the wrong way which is how some of you are taking it so it doesn't bode well for him.

I think that is just making excuses for him. If it is making Alex feel uncomfortable - then it is unacceptable!

It does not mean it is acceptable either in sport or here to intimidate or attack someone the way he does and did. Jones is a thug and a bully and I would love someone in there to really rip him apart. He needs total public humiliation and throwing back in the gutter where he belongs.

Hilarious! Your personal venom toward Vinnie Jones big thing for you obviously, but do try to get a grip. He is not bullying the CAGE FIGHTER.

The words THUG and BULLY crop up every time CBB or BB is on TV. Maybe you don't really know what a thug or a bully is.

It's footballing/sporting banter which I'm well used to myself but occassionally you have to stand up and give as good as you get. Unfortunately for Alex that's a bit difficult, especially when you're on live tv and don't have experience with the cams and don't want to end up looking like a fool. I personally think that Vinnie should cool down a bit because it's not the right enviroment to be going overboard with that kinda thing and he could go too far.

Spot on, yeah I think Alex is taking it literally and so on so clearly isn't used to it so he should stop.

Exactly. Vinnie has to realise that he should relax now, otherwise I'll end up calling him a tit.

Yep that is exactly what I feel, as mentioned previously he was almost killed in a bar fight by just this type of behaviour. BB needs to be careful on this. Vinnie was picking on Alex again tonight, it was straight talk but it was also personal.

If Alex snaps Vinnie might find himself picking up some teeth off the floor on the way out of the house!

Saying that though if Alex turned around and started questioning Vinnie in a suttle way about his own personal life i.e. the hard man image etc and the pitch ball grabbing incident etc in a funny way then they would probably actually get on better.

It could go either way.

He should just realise that it's not working now and back down just a tad. Otherwise he's a moron.

Yep, if he has a brain he will back off a bit via not getting the banter back and seeing that the lad has no come backs. If not then he will keep it up. I think this will be the measure of him in that way.

I used to think Vinnie was a bit of a legend but now I'm wondering, time will tell.

The question is WHY is Vinnie is pushing it with Alex?
I'm disappointed in Vinnie - I thought he was going to be great, but he just seems to want to get laughs at the expense of others. Insecurity maybe?
He does seem to be the type of insensitive plonker that I dislike. Oh well. His behaviour towards Alex is making me LIKE Alex, and I didn't want to do that!
