Why was there no individual forum for each of the housemates this year?

Because the mods are lazy and cannot be bothered checking up various topics when it can all be in one place.

I think it may have to do with the bulletin board program being used, its different from last years which allowed sub forums to show.

This one is slightly different, plus it has some better features.

Wrong.

There are sub-forums for each housemate, Jessica. If you go to the Forum homepage, under the Celebrity BB7 heading there are small blue folders for each housemate - if you click on one of these you are directed to the sub-forum for that housemate.

If you post a new thread in one of these sub-forums it shows on the list of posts with the housemate's name before the title, e.g. Alex: Alex to Win.

Yeah, one more thing is you have to select the housemate name under 'Prefix' when you start a new thread for it to appear in the correct list.

The reason for not using sub-forums is that it is a bit confusing sometimes whether to post a topic in the main forum or the housemate forum.

This way topics can appear in both the main forum and under a housemate list, unless of course the topic covers more than one housemate. But we can't have everything. : )
