The evil men got to her, they brainwashed her and forced her to say these horrible things. Terrible stuff

Sorry WOMBAI
Let me see - a young girl in her early twenties, no children, no real education on the subject - but somehow she is some kind of expert! She speaks as if women have children on their own - and the fathers have no responsibilities and no input into their care. Excuse me if I don't take her opinion too seriously!

Do you have some issues with equal rights Inone - which is all feminisim means! I believe in equal rights - nothing more nothing less! Those that don't are the ones with issues!

Is that not being ageist? She is clearly quite intelligent and well reserched on the topic, what are the main points you don't agree with?

It has got nothing to do with ageism - just that she lacks life experience. Just her opinion - not based on anything more significant than that. You say she has researched the topic - what are her qualifications then, to what degree has she researched the subject - is her research evidence based? Too many questions, not enough answers. I take it you don't know her personally or know about her 'credentials'.

You always bring up the term 'life experience'. As if to say if we all manage to live long enough, we will experience something catastrophic in the future that will make us conform to your narrow views.

This is a link she posted next to the vid.
http://www.bls.gov/opub/ted/2006/oct/wk1/art03.htm

And it is not about life experience, her points are logical. They do not need 'experience', there are tons of stats and it's a view of someone looking at both sides, yet it is a woman giving these views. In what way are Women opressed in todays society?

How are my views narrow - it seems to me, that the ones that label a woman as a manhater for believing in equality between the sexes are the ones with the narrow views!

Good then that nobody was saying equal rights for both sexes equates to being narrow minded .

The feminism bashing you see I believe is more directed to those who would burn there bras in protest of manhole covers being called manhole covers.

They can get fucked.

And you, of course, who on numerous occasions have chalked peoples housemate like or dislikes up to being brainwashed by the macho hype, rather than ... I don't know ... just finding them entertaining housemates.

That, amongst other things ...

Married I think lol Yeah she can talk, people don't expect women to openly talk about feminism no much. Especially ones that make very good points.

That's what it is suppose to mean but like all the "Ism's" it gets hijacked to a rediculous end.

Also the 'no life experience' thing can be turned around, what about young feminists? They surely can't have lived long enough to feel the true opression on man? They probably see it as a trendy thing to do, some overeducated middle class graduate.

She isn't ranting - but that doesn't necessarily mean her points are logical. How exactly are they logical? She says men work longer hours - well someone has to look after the kids! Would men rather be the ones to do that then? What exactly is her point?

You didn't answer to what you believe? Only then I can explain why they are logical, you're not giving much...
