Actually I can. That's the point. But obviously I am only speaking for Irish politics here. But still the point stands.

It is too easy to look at politicians and parties and think "OOh I hate what they stand for" unless you have a better alternative and are willing to do something about it

So I am not entitled to hold my view that all the options suck unless I am willing to drop my life right now and devote it to creating an alternate?

Sorry, but I don't buy that. Learn to recognise when people disagree with you and move on, not attempt to devalue them at every turn.
