Okay WTF.
Why did they even think of doing this? Was there a purpose? very weird and stupid, scaring kids like that. Sort of immature "playing" this sort of game.

I take it it didn't then! Would only have been a small explosion though - especially in these days of health and safety gone mad! That is why I was so surprised at the fake shooting stunt!

No, he said its the one experiment that you'll do in this school that is life-threatening.
he had to stand close - incase the water started to go up the pipe..
and said he would break the test tube.
