fair enough if you like him as a housemate, but he shouldn't win because of sympathy votes.

Of course its sympathy. And this is BB11 not an army compensation tribunal. He has to earn the money by being entertaining for 3 month like everybody else.

aload of bollocks , he certainly does not deserve to win because of what has happend to him in the past , if the game was this way , then should it be fair to say that the person whos had the least life troubles should go first and so on, i dont have any sympathy for him , i admire him for the person he seems to be today , he surely would not want to win based on sympathy,, he knew the risks involved in what he was doing,, sure the goverment should give 100.000 ,, big brother is a differant show, if hes a good housemate then he will deserve to win big brother

I aint being nasty but he probably makes more money than anyone in there from benefits. He will get lots of money for being so disabled. He will get money off all his cars etc. He has EIGHT kids so will be getting so much tax credits and child benefit! and he will be getting money from the army for what happened to him! He will be getting lots of money and doesnt need it. No point saying he should win just because you think he deserves money.

Thats like me saying Corin's husband and childhood sweetheart died so she should win and get £100K.

lol wtf are you on a windup?
he will be on a full army pension that he deserves.
nobody "gets lots of money for being disabled"
and his child benefit is nothing that everybody doesnt get.

edit: i know you didnt mean it in a bad way but being disabled in an accident isnt the willy wonkas golden ticket you seem to think it is far from it infact. he suffered his injurys in one of the only professions that will make sure he receives a pension large enough to live comfortably on because its a danger of the job.

You get a LOT of money for being disabled from HMRC. He will be on his army pension yes but like I said he will be getting a lot in benefits for this.
So no, I am not on a "wind up"
And childbenefit wasnt the main source of income I was referring too. He will get £55 per child per week for child tax credits. And then his tax credits for being disabled and then his disability allowance. And then the money he earns from working and then his army pension. etc etc etc. He is loaded.

you dont get paid tax credits for being disabled? lol
working tax credits are paid to low earners to enable them to have enough money to lead a reasonable level of life.

steves pension would mean he isnt entitled to working tax credits.
everybody is entitled to child tax credits not just steve!

and nobody gives you money for being disabled unless you are without income and it isnt a lot of money then damn the way you seem to think it works everyone you saw in a wheelchair would have it blinged out with gold rims and heated seats.
his income is his pension.

p.s. your figures for child tax credit are from foo foo land just like the rest of your dumb claims

Steve deserves a huge payout for his injuries. Especially when you read about the payouts certain celebs get just for being called names. He had half his body destroyed and his whole career snatched away at a young age. That takes amazing mental strength to deal with. Yet he seems happy, positive and self reliant. So how can anybody begrudge him any amount of money? No amount is too much IMO. No amount is enough to compensate.

But BB is a different issue. He's not entitled to win that just for past occurences. It's a whole new game and all are equal.

You get more money for tax credits for being disabled. Tax credits includes several different types of benefits. He will be getting working tax credits because he wont be working full time. His pension income doesnt get included in his annual income as it isnt shown on his P60 at the end of the year, he said he works part time in his VT so he will be getting working tax credits and he does get more for being disabled.
He gets disabled allowance and money towards doing up his house to make sure he is able to get around, he gets money towards new cars to make sure he is able to get help getting from A to B.
I actually work for HMRC and know exactly what I am talking about.

"nobody gives you money for being disabled" --- you are clearly an idiot.

A tramp? Who the hell do you think you are talking to?

£21381.60 is what he would get from working tax credits and child tax credits
£3,665 a year on top of that for being badly disabled

then this Penion on top of that. And then child benefit. And then his housing allowance. And then his disability living allowance!

So get a grip on life you said "You do not get extra working tax credits for being disabled"

You do! Maybe you should have a wee look around before thinking that you know what you are talking about and as for calling someone a tramp, its just completely uncalled for.
