Ben is the one who tries too hard to seem posh; always going on about his friends and parties.

Also Ben probably resents the fact that he went to uni,is 30+ and still nowhere with his 'media career' apart from reality TV,whereas Shabby is 20+ and already has acted in actual films and tv shows.

I think Ben is far more developed as a human being than shabby who lives as a squatter in derelict buildings, eats thrown away food from supermarkets and is universally despised...articulate? We've only heard her shout, swear and curse in that whiney shreiky voice
