That being so, how come the so called "experts" can get it so badly wrong when they diagnose these monsters? Some people cannot be cured - incarceration is the only way to protect society.

Yep, well some are good at hiding it, or they just aren't trained to pick up the signs properly. I mean, god knows how Mary Bell was ever released let alone have a child!!!
