He's awful. Instead of concentrating on Messi's great skills he tells us the guy doing the marking job is doing well. His analysis is too technical for him to effectively explain it to the layman, so it sounds like depressing negative comments made while great skill is being displayed.

He was a no nonsense, old school type of defender so it's no coincidence that he drools over 0-0's with one team holding out the other with big tackles and negative football.
