They do have good chemistry between them, when they are friends they are great. But they are on different wavelengths, he has a big crush on her and he cannot handle it. Not sure how Josie feels about him, but she will not be spoken to in the way JJ speaks to her when he is in a strop.
I thinks it is getting a bit tedious with the strops and the going to the DR to leave lark. But it could get back to the good humoured banter with a bit of luck.
