Default Nominations Meddling

This has been going on now since BB4 kicked Anouska out on night one.

Why does BB have to meddle with the nominations? This latest one with Susie will have disastrous consequences. Not only for the one who got kicked out, but for Susie herself who has now become unpopular with a certain group because of BBs decision to do this to her.

It defeats the purpose of the "game" to mix it up when nominations are coming so that BB can sway the votes one way or the other.

Also, if they hadn't let Grace hear the boos and chants, then her eviction would have been more dramatic. Not that I enjoy the cat-calling and boos, but it's an integral part of BB that the HMs have no idea what kind of reception to expect.

You only have to look at Sezer's reaction to being evicted and Grace's to see what I mean. Sezer was speechless, whilst Grace already knew what to expect.

There's far too much meddling in BB. Nominations should never be meddled with. There should be no "exempt from nomination" and there should be no stupid games like the one they played with Susie.

That's my opinion.. take it or leave it..

At the end of the day - The public voted Anoushka out, and everyone else who has followed.
People only say stuff like this when one of their faves go, thats all

The public do vote them out, but how many people vote for one person because they like the other, rather than because they dislike the one they vote for?

Yes but your point is made aggressively. Can't stand people who write 'get over it'. You get some manners.

Don't worry about it Deep2. He/she appears to have some maturity problems and the vocabulary of Vikki Pollard.

Please take a minute to read it back to yourself and then you might see where I'm coming from.

I have never liked Big Brother messing around with the nominations, the last two series have had the most amount of meddling and I think the show could do without it. They should just leave it to the normal format and only have one twist with nominations in a series otherwise it defeats the object of the game.

That was the point I was making Danny. How can the HMs devise a gameplan where they pull the wool over their HMs eyes, when BB can step in with a twist which ensures that Public Enemy #1 gets evicted.

Let's face it, if we had a "Susie" last year, Makosi would have been out on her ear in the first few weeks. She was vastly unpopular with the public, but we were never given a chance to chuck her out. That's the nature of the game!

I dont mind twists, but your right there has been far too many. I guess BB meddling the noms process gives it a bit of spice.

Some of the twists are encouraging people to cry "fix", because it does look like Endemol/C4 engineer the noms some weeks in order to bring in more revenue from phone voting.

But the reasons why people say 'fix' are so lame, it normally comes down to the facts that they like the 'villian'.

I dont mind villans, but Grace was on a different scale.

If the twist last week didnt take place, im pretty sure Grace would make it to at least Wekk 8 or 9 until being nominated

That's also true. A lot of people only want to complain when their favourite HM gets evicted.

Although I liked Grace and wanted her to stay because of that. I also wanted her to stay to see if she could redeem herself, or if indeed her HMs would be able to see her true colours and turn on her inside the house. I found her to be an interesting character, mainly because the inside perception of her was so different from the outside perception.

Even though Grace was bad - it did keep us amazed and something to watch.

I do believe that those who break rules should be punished though.

Yeah, if they discuss nominations, they shouldn't be allowed to nominate... that makes sense.

I wonder who will be banned this week, and what effect it will have on the votes.

It's pretty good to see someone with a gameplan or someone vilified on the outside make it far in the show, once they have gone you soon get left with less conflict and the publics interest might start to decrease as you wait to see the housemates with a game plan get found out.

I personallly cant see Big Brother banning those 5 who have been named, i wouldnt be surprised if Big Brother put them all up for eviction.

A game plan is good. Jason and Victor spoke openly of playing a game, reporting to the DR lol, but i think most of this years lot are so deluded and self absorbed they would never saying they are playing a game, though they are quick to say that someone else is playing a game

Yeah Danny. Again, I mention Makosi. I didn't like her, but it was good to watch and you couldn't help wondering when her HMs would see through her bullsh!t. So, you kept watching and waiting for her day to come.
