Its these places in Ireland where they speak Irish and you go off there and live in a house with about 12 other people of your age and a Bean an Tí (Woman of the house, who cooks your meals and washes your clothes etc.) and you go to classes in the morning but they are short and you go swimming and go to the Céili (which is like Irish dancing) . It is such a laugh! . I went last year on this island but I'm going somewhere different this year. There are loads of Gaeltachts in Ireland usually secondary school students go to them in the summer but people live there all year round speaking Irish. Look it up on the wikipedia it'll give you a better explaination..
