I love putting a whole load of mashed potato lining the boundaries of the strips of metal of the fork from the tips to the left side of the curve where the gaps dissapear and it meats the pure metal part. YUM...and then if I have some Roast Potatoes, I will push it in, and it will look like a toffee apple on a stick as I move it to my lips

This is a very Americanised way of using a fork, and very unsightly! Prongs of the fork should curve downwards and food placed on top of fork, small mouthfuls at a time..
This isn't being "posh" as you put it, but just simple manners and acceptable table etiquette!

Ohhh But looking at Laura doing that with the fork was like listening to someone scraping their nails down a chalk board...I felt like OMG I can just about imagine the scraping from the fork as it touches the ceramics...Ohhhhh no...The same with Tights...I couldn't wear them or even touch them

I've seen this sort of behaviour displayed in quite a few places and on the telly.. I'm sure Sophie (could have been someone else) from last years BB did it too! Oh, I could weep thinking about it!
