Pathetic.
Maybe that's what they were whispering about under the covers just before it all started...

I wondered the same thing BUT her tears and hurt seemed real.

Like I don't know if she fancies JJ or likes the idea of being fancied by him. Maybe she let herself get carried away with the thought of it all. Like Channelle did with Ziggy.

If you replay the convo you will hear HER mention leaving by a fire exit. THEN JJ1 decides to walk past other fire exits in order to make a staged "bid for freedom" walking at snails pace to the fire exit directly next to where Josie is sitting on the bench. Prior to this he made sure he got JJ2 worried enough to follow him into the garden thereby ensuring a good audience.

Of course it was staged with the connivance and collusion of BOTH of them.

Did you not record it? Easy to check if I'm lying. I just wondered at the time why she mentioned it, now I know.
On last night's HLs show, fast forward to around 27:40 when they're talking under the duvet. She says: "If I'd felt awkward I'd have just ran out the fire exit" - lo and behold a few minutes later he does just that.

your reading way too nuch into the fact she mentioned the word "fire exit" - Although I do agree Josie is clever enough to easily fool that lot

I do remember her saying that, but lets face it....if you are gonna break out..then that is the only way to go nowadays.

I think JJ1 is a plonker....but the OPs point i believe is tthat Josie was only thinking of how it made her look, and not how JJ1 was feeling.
Her muttering under her breath "Stop making a show of me" as she walked across the grass towards him in the DR, was not good.

I doubt very much if that is the ONLY fire exit in the entire house

I dont know to be honest, but its the 2nd time at least that the garden exits have been compromised. And i have no doubt it was also done right in front of her for a reason..as i say..he is a plonker.

But i reiterate that this thread by the OP is bringing to attention the responce by Josie which was rather poor irrespective of whether JJ1 went out the garden FE, through another FE, over the wall, dug a tunnel or just walked out the DR.

He did it for dramatic effect, but her responce sucked.

I find it hard to believe that you are the only person who picked up on this :S

So do I! She said it on the HLs show last night when they were in bed talking (again) - if you recorded it, ff to around 27minutes to listen to the convo all through. JJ is definitely not telling her he's in love with her or anything close, yet a little bit later he is making a bolt for it? I don't buy it, and why THAT fire exit if not to cause maximum attention and camera shots?
